Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was the 1st Prime Minister of the United India. Netaji formed Azad Hind Sarkar on 21 October 1943, said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Defence Minister Singh was addressing the inaugural session of 'Shodhveer Samagam' organized by the Indian Education Board.
We declassified and dedicated to people of the country, more than 300 documents related to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose that were not brought to the public domain for a very long time, said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi.
There was a time when Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's contribution to independent India was either deliberately ignored or underestimated. Documents on him weren't brought to public domain. When PM Modi assumed office,he started giving Netaji the respect he deserved, said Defence Min Rajnath Singh.
